Work

After working in customer service for 7 1/2 years I have decided to end my business. I advised my client on Monday and he keeps asking me to stay. My client is giving me really sweet offers to stay. He's sure making it hard for me...lol. I was very tempted to stay but after awhile of discussion with my wonderful family and close friends I've decided to go forward with ending my business. I am planning to start my own little crafting business on Ebay. I will be crafting full time. So as of Thurs May 8th I will be starting a new chapter in my life. I am very blessed to be able to continue to work from home and do what I luv to do thx to god and my wonderful supportive hubby.

Paradise

2 weeks left till hubby and I will be in paradise. We are sooo excited. Can't wait to bake in the sun and go swimming everyday :o)

Dog

Hubby and I spoke and he is now open to the idea of us getting a dog...woohoo!!! I was so suprised because for over 11+ years he's been saying no. We are going to do some reasearch on dogs within the next couple of months then we will probably purchased one in July. We can't get one now because we are traveling in May and June so it would not be the best time to purchase one. Right now we are planning on getting a shih tzu but you never know we may do research and fall in love with another type of dog. Oh I am soooooooooo excited and happy.

I want a dog!!

I was just outside getting mail from my mail box when I heard one of my neighour's talking to antoher neighbour. She was says awwwww...he's so cute! I turned around and saw this cute 6 month old golden retriever running to me. He ran between my feet and was rubbing himself against my feet and legs. His cute lil tail was wagging so much. I was petting and playing with him so long. I was sooooooo happy and wanted to play with him all day. I wanted to take him home with me...heehee. I am in love with the cute lil puppy. I haven't played with a puppy in sooo long.

The picture above is of my old dog Miko. She's a shih tzu. We lost her a long time ago. I had her when when I was living at home with my family. She was the best dog ever. So well behaved and so cuddly. She always slept by the foot of my bed when I was sleeping and when I woke up she would jump up on the bed to greet me. I miss her alot.

So I just called my hubby at work and asked him in the sweetest voice ever if we could talk about about getting a puppy again. Right now he won't budge because he says they are hard work and will poo and pee all over our house. He also says when we move to our new home in April 2009 the house will be all hardwood floors and the dogs nails would scratch it up. He's also concerned with when we travel we would have have to find someone to watch the dog. Another reason is we plan on trying for a baby next year so he says with a new baby and a dog it would be alot of work. I told him alot of people have baby and a dog and they do just fine. I told him it's the best time to get a dog now because I work from home and I have the time to train the dog and take care of it. Also our current place has a good sized kitchen/dining area which is tiled so we could keep the puppy in there at the beginning when we were training her. Plus I am in that area all day and night because I work there and craft there. When he gets home I am going to try to convince him again. I really really really want a puppy.

Prima

Prima flowers I purchased today. I luv pink!!! Luv the new embossed flowers. Can't wait to use them on my paper piecings and scrapbooks.

A birthday card I made recently for a friend. Can you tell my favourite colour is pink...heehee.

Vacation

Hubby and I just booked a vacation last night. We are going on a caribbean cruise with Royal Caribbean next month. This trip is an early 1 year anniversary pressie for the both of us. We got married on Sat July 28, 2007. We have been together for over 11 years. The first picture was taken on our wedding day. The second picture was taken on our honeymoon last year. We went on a cruise and it was amazing. The ship we went of was Liberity of the Seas, worlds largest cruise ship. When we went it was the ships 6th sailing. It was beautiful!! We loved it so much we decided to go again this year. It will be like our honeymoon again :o)

Sick

Made this bear topper awhile back. This is what I've been doing for the last few days, sleeping and more sleeping. I'm still sick with the flu :o( Slowly getting better but still weak and stuffed up. Can't wait till I am fully better so I can hit the gym. I hate when I have no control over my body. Totally sux feeling like this. The plus side with being sick is I don't have to work or do house work...heehee.
