I'm moving to Houston, Texas, in one week!!! OMG...sooo exciting!!! It's been crazy busy here and I'm just getting over a nasty cold :( Movers are coming next week to pack up all our stuff. Our new home is still being built so we will be living in temporary housing that my hubby's work has provided for us. Our new home will be completed mid Aug so we will be living in temporary housing for about 4 weeks. The place looks fab! It has 2 resort style swimming pools, a 2 story gym and more.
I can't bring all my crafting goodies with me so I'm really going to miss crafting :( I haven't created anything in months and won't be able to until after I move into our new home and get settled so I will be MIA on Blogger for 2-3 months :( I will bring my Copic markers and some stamped images with me to the temporary housing so that I can still do a bit of crafting. It will be mostly x'mas images because by the time I can craft again it will be time to make x'mas cards for family and friends.
I hope you are all doing well and enjoying the summer heat. I will still be dropping by all your fab blogs as I love seeing all your beautiful creations. Take care and I'll be back on Blogger soon :)

Our home SOLD in 14 days! I'm sooo happy! Now hubby and I have to head back to Houston, Texas, to purchase a home, pack up and move :) Sooo exciting!!!

First day back from Puerta Vallarta. I'm sunburnt, peeling and have 7 misquito bites but I had a FAB time in Mexico! Will post pix soon. I missed my fur baby like crazy. Off to pick her up :)

I have some big news! I'm moving to the US!! Hubby recently got a promotion. I'm sooo proud of my man :) Bye bye Toronto, Ontario...Hellooo Houston, Texas!! No more cold long winters! Lots of fab shopping! I can't wait to check out all the craft shops. There are also some yummy restaurants hubby and I are looking forward to trying. I'm gonna miss our home. Hubby and I watched it get built and have lived in it for just over a year. No more big craft room. Hopefully our new home in Houston will have a big craft room *crossing fingers & toes*. Our current home is also in a nice neighborhood and we have great neighbors. We do get to go house hunting which will be fun :) I would love to have a pool :) Big move, big changes...I'm looking forward to what the future has in store for us :)

Good friends are like stars.........You don't always see them, but you know they are always there' 'Remember yesterday, dream about tomorrow, but live for today'... Now smile and send to any girl wasting time at work, suffering from a hangover, or just suffering from life, they might need a reason to smile!

Just wanted to update on why I haven't been posting any creations because I've been sick and I've also been working on my craft room. I've been helping my hubby put together furniture for my craft room. I will post pix when everything is all done. Hope everyone is doing well and keeping warm.

I got a nasty virus on my pc :o( The stupid thing is blocking my virus programs so that I can't remove it. Now I can't even start up my pc. This is sooo annoying! Last month my hard drive breaks and I had to replace it and now I get a virus on my new har drive...grrr. I'm dropping off my hard drive tomorrow to have it repaired. Hopefully I will get it back early next week so I can start posting my new creations. I made a b-day card and a love bear layout. I hope everyone's new year is starting off better then mine.

Happy New Year!!!
May 2010 bring you good health, happiness, lots of love and more time to craft.

I hope everyone's keeping warm this holiday season. May your holiday season be surround by those who love you and those you love.
Merry Christmas Everyone!!!

My old hard drive is fried so I had to get a new one. Right now I'm re-installing everything. I will be posting my new creations very soon. I made some christmas cards and scrapbook layout. Be sure to check back next week.
I hope everyone is having a wonderful holiday. Merry Christmas!!!

My stupid pc crashed tonight :o( I may have a virus...grrr. If I do have a virus this will be the 2nd time it has messed up my pc...sooo annoying! Right now I'm backing everything important onto dvd's, which will taking forever! I have to drop off my hard drive tomorrow to get it fixed. In the meantime I'm using my hubby's laptop. I hope I don't have a virus, my pc can be fixed and it won't cost an arm and a leg to get repaired. Wish me luck! I will be back soon with pix of my new creations once I get my hard drive fixed. Hope everyone is doing well.

One of my younger sisters sent me this. I laughed so hard when I read this. Check it out!
THE SPOILED UNDER-30 CROWD!!!
If you are 30 or older you will think this is hilarious!!!
When I was a kid, adults used to bore me to tears with their tedious diatribes about how hard things were. When they were growing up; what with walking Twenty-five miles to school every morning.... Uphill... barefoot... BOTH ways
And I remember promising myself that when I grew up, there was no way in hell I was going to lay a bunch of crap like that on my kids about how hard I had it and how easy they've got it!
But now that... I'm over the ripe old age of thirty, I can't help but look around and notice the youth of today.
You've got it so easy! I mean, compared to my child hood, you live in a damn Utopia!
And I hate to say it, but you kids today, you don't know how good you've got it!
I mean, when I was a kid we didn't have The Internet. If we wanted to know something, we had to go to the damn library and look it up ourselves, in the card catalogue!
There was no email!! We had to actually write somebody a letter - with a pen!
Then you had to walk all the way across the street and put it in the mailbox and it would take, like, a week to get there! Stamps were 10 cents!
Child Protective Services didn't care if our parents beat us. As a matter of fact, the parents of all my friends also had permission to kick our ass! Nowhere was safe!
There were no MP3' s or Napsters! If you wanted to steal music, you had to hitchhike to the damn record store and shoplift it yourself!
Or you had to wait around all day to tape it off the radio and the DJ would usually talk over the beginning and @#*% it all up! There were no CD players! We had tape decks in our car. We'd play our favorite tape and "eject" it when finished and the tape would come undone. Cause - that's how we rolled, dig?
We didn't have fancy crap like Call Waiting! If you were on the phone and somebody else called they got a busy signal, that's it!
And we didn't have fancy Caller ID either!
When the phone rang, you had no idea who it was! It coul d be your school, your mom, your boss, your bookie, your drug dealer, a collections agent, you just didn't know!!! You had to pick it up and take your chances, mister !
We didn't have any fancy Sony Playstation video games with high-resolution 3-D graphics! We had the Atari 2600! With games like 'Space Invaders' and 'Asteroids'. Your guy was a little square! You actually had to use your imagination!! And there were no multiple levels or screens, it was just one screen... forever!
And you could never win. The game just kept getting harder and harder and faster and faster until you died! Just like LIFE!
You had to use a little book called a TV Guide to find out what was on! You were e screwed when it came to channel surfing! You had to get off your ass and walk over to the TV to change the channel! NO REMOTES!!!
There was no Cartoon Network either! You could only get cartoons on Saturday Morning. Do you hear what I'm saying!?! We had to wait ALL WEEK for cartoons, you spoiled little rat-bastards!
And we didn't have microwaves, if we wanted to heat something up we had to use the stove! Imagine that!
That's exactly what I'm talking about! You kids today have got it too easy. You're spoiled. You guys wouldn't have lasted five minutes back in 1980 or before!
Regards,
The Over 30 Crowd

I started crafting again! Oh how I've missed crafting. I haven't made anything for 2 months! It felt so good to create again. I made 3 stamped cards. I think for my next creation I may make a layout. I will post pix of my 3 cards soon. I need to recharge my digi cam batteries.

I had foot surgery today to remove a big ol cyst from my left foot that I've had for over a year. I had it drained awhile back but the darn thing came back the very same day and got even bigger. Surgery went well. My foot is all bandaged up and I have to stay off my feet for awhile. Right now there's no pain because I'm on pain killers but my foot is starting to itch. Next Wed I head back to the hospital to have the stitches removed. I can't wait till my foot is fully healed so that I can start going to the gym and be able to wear my heels again. My sweet hubby has been spoiling me today with take-out Thai dinner and yummy sweets. Wish he could stay home from work for the week to pamper me...heehee.

SOLD IN 6 DAYS!!! WOOOHOOO!!!
We listed out townhouse Fri afternoon and sold it on Thurs afternoon. We had only 3 showings and the house sold to a couple from the 3rd showing. We are so happy there won't be anymore showings and we didn't even have to have an open house. It was stressful having to keep the house spotless, no trace of a dog and always having to leave for showings. Our realtor said the couple had 2 comments about our home...they were amazed at how mint condition it was and how much it reminded them of their old home which they loved. This was the perfect couple to buy our home because they want to move in on Oct 15th and we move into our new detached home on Oct 8th. Hubby and I were worried we would have to move twice because the new home owners may have wanted to move in sooner before the closing of our new house but now we won't have to...woohoo!!! The night the house was sold was the night my hubby and I had a good sleep and we slept in :o) Our doggy, Maddi, is also happy now because she can have her toys all over the house again. No more packing it all up and leaving when there are showings :o)

Happy 2yr Wedding Anniversary Baby!!! Thank you for supporting me, being such a wonderful hubby and bestfriend. Thank you for making me laugh everyday. I luv you lotz!!!
My hubby and I actually got the day of our wedding anniversary mixed up with the day we started dating. We did the same thing last year. We started dating on Jan 29th and we got married on July 28th. We get those dates mixed up now that we are married. So our 2yr wedding anniversary was acutally yesterday...lol.
My hubby and I have been together for 12 years and married for 2 years. I can't believe how fast time flies. Here are some of our wedding pix. We got married in Vancouver, BC. It was the perfect day! Sunny all day and everything went smoothly. The day was filled with loads of tears and laughter.
We will be celebrating our anniversary this weekend, which is also a long weekend so my hubby has 4 days off..woohoo! We are driving to Niagra Falls and having a picnic right by the falls. It's suppost to be a sunny day so we are looking forward to that.
