Cricut Expression Has Arrived!!!

My Cricut Expression arrived today :o) I bought it off Ebay yesterday. Now that is lightening fast shipping! Boy this thing is huge. I just took all the stuff out of the box. I'm about to read the instructions and try to set it up. I hope I don't mess it up...lol. If I do my poor hubby will have to fix it for me...heehee. Off to play with my new toy.

Maddi's Operation

Awww...check out these cute pix of my two loves. Hubby was laying on the sofa watching tv while Maddi slept on top of him.

Maddi is recovering from her operation very well. She slept ALOT for the first 3 days. She didn't play. She didn't eat alot either but she did eat treats when we gave them to her. The vet called to check up on her and we told the vet that Maddi was not eating much but was still eating the treats. She said there probably isn't a problem because she's still eating treats and to just keep an eye on her. The vet also said she was probably just being a little princess...lol. That is so Maddi...lol. She said most dogs don't notice that they had the operation but some do. Maddi sure did. All Maddi wanted to do was drink, eat treats, sleep and cuddle, expecially with me. After the 3rd day her apetite was starting to come back and she played a little. On the 4th day she was completely back to her old self. She was eating up her doggy food and playing alot. I just wish she didn't have to wear the annoying cone anymore. She's always bashing the cone everywhere. I take it off her when I can keep an eye on her but when I can't she has to wear it and she has to sleep with it on because she will lick her stitches when no one is looking...lol.

Cricut Expressions

My new toy :o) I purchased the Cricut Expressions yesterday on Ebay from a canadian seller. I can't wait to get this baby in the mail!! Hopefully it will arrive on Fri but it probably won't arrive till next week. This comes with the Plantin Schoolbook cartridge. I also purchased the Design Studio and some other cartridges from Custom Crops. Most of their cartridges are on sale right now. The sale ends today so if you want to get some order soon while quantites are still there. I can't wait to play with this!!!

Maddi's Operation

This photo was taken on June 8, 2008. Maddi was 6 weeks old here. My hubby and I went to visit Maddi at the breeders home. Isn't she a cutie pie in this pic?

Thurs evening my hubby and I dropped Maddi off at the vet for her operation. She's getting spayed, having her baby canine teeth taken out and getting micro chipped. She's spending 2 nights at the vet. We bring her home Sat afternoon. I was all choked up and my eyes were all teary when the veterinarian took Maddi away. Hubby and I miss her so much. I hope she's ok and not too scared at the vet for the 2 nights. Poor girl is going to be in so much pain after her operation. I miss her :o( The house is so quiet without her.

Maddi's New Winter Coat

We also bought Maddi a new winter coat this Sat. The pink coat is waterproof and is lined with soft fleece. She looks so adorable in this coat. Everyone at the pet shop was awwwing at her when she was running around the store with the coat on.

Maddi's New Kennel

Hubby and I took Maddi shopping on Sat and we bought her a new kennel because she has outgrown her current kennel. Our puppy is growing up. Here's some pix of her old and her new kennel. She did not go into the kennel the first night because she was not use to the new and much bigger kennel. The next evening she decided it was ok and went into the new kennel and slept in it.

Maddi Enjoying Her Toy & Treat

Maddi at 6 months old. This video was taken last week. I put one of Maddi's favourite carrot cookie treats in her toy ball. She loves to play with it and tries to get the treat out. It does not take her long to get the treat out and when she does she gobbles it up real fast.
