Back from Houston

I'm back from Houston, Texas! This was my first trip there and I had a fab time. It was hot and humid which hubby and I liked. I'm looking forward to checking out the weather in July and Aug as I hear it's brutal. We checked out several homes and I ended up falling in love with the very first home we saw. The home has a media room and a game room! I would turn the media room into my craft room :) It's not as big as my current craft room but it's a good size. Plenty of room in the backyard for us to put in a pool :) I can't wait to go back as we will be purchasing a new home during our next trip. We were able to get in some shopping and dinner with friends. It was a very nice trip but I wish I could have brought home some of the heat as it's raining here :(

Hubby and I recently went to Puerto Vallarta but unfortunately we could not bring our lil fur baby, Maddi, with us so we left her at boarding for the very first time. We were nervous about leaving our girl as we have never done it before but Lorie from Somethin' to Bark About took such fab care of our baby that we had nothing to worry about while we were gone. She updated us daily with emails and photos of our lil girl while we were away. Maddi had so much fun playing with Lorie's dog, Jakki, and all the other dogs that were staying there. I made this thank you for card Lorie and Jakki. These two Magnolia images are perfect for her. I hope she likes the card. Thank you Lorie! You rock! Maddi's New Bed

A recent pic of my lil fur baby relaxing on her new bed and matching blanket. This set also came with a pink plush lil doggy doll which Maddi loves way too much. She brings it with her everywhere she goes and sleeps with it every night. Doesn't she look adorable? My hubby spoils her rotten. He came home with two of these plush beds, matching blankets and doggy dolls. Maddi now has 5 beds all over the house. What a princess!

Snowball Dog

I took Maddi out for potty yesterday and when she came back she was covered in snowballs. She luv's the playing in the snow. She was hopping around like a lil bunny rabbit.

If your looking for boots for your fur baby Pawz Natural Rubber Boots rock! They stay on and don't fall off even when your dogs entire legs are in the snow. They are super easy to put on and take off. I've tried several types of boots and this one is by far the best and they are cheap too. They are light weight so your dog won't mind wearing them. Maddi won't go out in the snow without them because the salt burns her paws. She will stand in place and won't walk at all until the boots are on. She's such a princess...lol.

Don't you just luv the fab photo frame? I got the photo frame from Kristina. She makes really pretty frames and her Photoshop tutorial is so easy to follow.

Maddi Enjoying Her Dental Stick

My mommy luv's me lots and lots. She gives me a yummy dental stick every day.

Maddi's New Toys

Hubby and I went to the dollar store yesterday to pick up some new toys for our lil girl, Maddi. She luv's her squeaky bone and squeaky pink ball. When she sleeps she lays her head on the pillow like bone and it looks sooo cute. I also picked up some crafting goodies for myself at the dollar store.

Maddi's 1st Birthday

My baby turns 1 today. I can't believe how fast she's growing up. It seemed like only yesterday she could fit in the palm of my hand. Lub you Maddi!!!

Sleepy Maddi

Some pix of Maddi, all taken on different days, sleeping on her fav body pillow. She luv's to sleep in between the top of the pillow and the sofa arm rest. The first time she tried sleeping only on the sofa arm rest but ended up rolling off and falling on the floor. Luckily she was not hurt or injured. She learned her lesson after the fall and now only sleeps between the pillow and arm rest or on the pillow. When I am laying on the pillow she will either sleep on my chest or on my shoulder. Doesn't she look adorable on my shoulder. She just luv's to cuddle with her mommy.

Maddi Hiding Her Bone

Maddi luvs to hide her Zuke's Dental Bones all over the house especially in between all my crafting goodies. Here she is climbing on top of some of my scrapbook papers and ribbon organizer so that she could hide her bone. She hides her bones so well that she gets them in places where she can't reach and the bones end up drying up and becoming hard as rocks...haha. She's so precious.

Maddi's Chewie

I took these cute pix yesterday while I was playing with Maddi. She luv's her yellow chewie. She looks so adorable when she's walking around the house with her chewie in her mouth. The chewie is bigger then her so it's dragging beside and behind her as she walks around sweeping up the floor...haha.
