Spring Cleaning

Taking a little break from my spring cleaning to make a post. Yesterday my hubby and I spent 3hrs cleaning out the garage. The garage is sooo clean and empty now. No more empty boxes all over the place. We donated 2 full garbage bags of shoes to charity. After doing that we realized that we had way too many shoes that we don't wear espeically me...heehee. If you ask anyone that has been to my home they will tell you I have too many of everything...lol. Today I am cleaning the kitchen/dining room. I craft in the dining room so there's crafting stuff all over the table and floor. Need to store everything up and get it off the floor for when we bring Maddi home in July. Don't want her eating anything and getting sick. Ok back to cleaning or I will never go ;o)

Birthday Pressie

Today my sweet hubby bought me the Kenmore Computerized Sewing Machine 19233 at Sears as part of my b-day pressie. This is my first sewing machine. The machine has loads of stitches and stitch functions. I have read some really good reviews on this machine so I hope it's one I will keep. I have 90 days to test it out and if I don't like it I can return it for a full refund and get another one. Sears is offering free unlimited lessons for me to take which I will need as I am new to sewing. I can't wait to sew stuff for my scrapbook layouts and hopefully one day I will learn to sew my own clothes :o)

Maddi - 6 Weeks Old

Hubby and I went to visit Maddi on Sunday. Here are some videos we took of our little girl. Whe took so many videos and pix of her...heehee. She has grown just a little since our last visit.

Here's a tiny sneak peak of what I have been doing. I've been making 12x12 page layouts to sell on Ebay but I will have to delay posting them because I am doing some spring cleaning, getting the house ready for Maddi and will be traveling soon so I would prefer to just list them when I get back. I will be going to Vancouver in a couple of weeks for my cousin's wedding. She's having a beach wedding so it should be really romantic. I can't wait to see all my family and friend.
