I was born in Canada and lived there most of my life but in 2011 I moved to the US. I currently live with my wonderfully supportive hubby & super cute Shih Tzu, Maddi, here in beautiful Houston, Texas. I luv to create and share with others. I sell my handmade creations on Etsy & Ebay. My favorite things are butterflies, fairies, all things pink and of course anything sweet. I'm addicted to Twilight and I luv Robert Pattinson/Edward Cullen!
I made this scrapbook layout this week. I haven't made a scrapbook layout in a couple of months so it was really fun making this. I think I'm going to make another one very soon :o)
I decided to get out my Cricut Expressions and used it to cut out the vine leaves and sun like image. I didn't glue down the top of the sun like image so that you can slide a photo into the center. I think it will look really cute with a round photo in the center. I need to use my Cricut Expressions more often because it's such an awesome machine. My hubby was very pleased to see me using it because it was just sitting there collecting dust...lol.
This scrapbook layout is currently for sale on Etsy.

I made this card the other day and at first I wasn't sure if the colours I picked for the card would go together well but after I started assembling everything the colours looked great together. I really like the dangly heart charms. I luv anything with hearts :o)
I had sooo much fun making these 2 cards. It was nice to finally be able to create again. 2 months of no crafting was horrible :o(
This was my first attempt at making a tri-shutter card. After I made the first one I had to make a second because it was so easy to make and the card looks so neat.
I started crafting again! Oh how I've missed crafting. I haven't made anything for 2 months! It felt so good to create again. I made 3 stamped cards. I think for my next creation I may make a layout. I will post pix of my 3 cards soon. I need to recharge my digi cam batteries.
I had foot surgery today to remove a big ol cyst from my left foot that I've had for over a year. I had it drained awhile back but the darn thing came back the very same day and got even bigger. Surgery went well. My foot is all bandaged up and I have to stay off my feet for awhile. Right now there's no pain because I'm on pain killers but my foot is starting to itch. Next Wed I head back to the hospital to have the stitches removed. I can't wait till my foot is fully healed so that I can start going to the gym and be able to wear my heels again. My sweet hubby has been spoiling me today with take-out Thai dinner and yummy sweets. Wish he could stay home from work for the week to pamper me...heehee.
We listed out townhouse Fri afternoon and sold it on Thurs afternoon. We had only 3 showings and the house sold to a couple from the 3rd showing. We are so happy there won't be anymore showings and we didn't even have to have an open house. It was stressful having to keep the house spotless, no trace of a dog and always having to leave for showings. Our realtor said the couple had 2 comments about our home...they were amazed at how mint condition it was and how much it reminded them of their old home which they loved. This was the perfect couple to buy our home because they want to move in on Oct 15th and we move into our new detached home on Oct 8th. Hubby and I were worried we would have to move twice because the new home owners may have wanted to move in sooner before the closing of our new house but now we won't have to...woohoo!!! The night the house was sold was the night my hubby and I had a good sleep and we slept in :o) Our doggy, Maddi, is also happy now because she can have her toys all over the house again. No more packing it all up and leaving when there are showings :o)
